COVID-19 Testing and Registration

As of December 30, 2020, the Waukesha Free Clinic and collaborators have completed their community COVID testing program. Please visit https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/covid-19/community-testing.htm to find your nearest COVID testing site or choose from the selection below!

*If you need a medical appointment but exhibit COVID related symptoms, we will require you to get a test.*

Mondays through Saturdays: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. 
Community Testing Site at Malone Park, 16400 W. Al Stigler Pkwy, New Berlin.
Enter park off of National Avenue

  • Tests administered by Summit Clinical Laboratories
    • Testing for all ages 
    • Same-Day or Next-Day results (subject to change based on volume)
    • NO TESTING ON: 1/1/21, 1/2/21
    • Bring your insurance card as Medicaid, Medicare or private insurance will be billed. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or were in close contact with someone with COVID-19, no out-of-pocket costs will be incurred and no one will be turned away.
    • If you seek testing for the sole purpose of travel, you will incur a $100 fee. Cash or credit card accepted.

    • First come, first served. No appointment required.

Regional Community Testing Site provided by the Wisconsin National Guard at the Waukesha County Expo Center, 1000 Northview Rd, Waukesha.

    • Testing for ages 5+
    • NO TESTING AT THE EXPO ON: 1/1/21, 1/8/21, 1/18/21, 1/29/21, 2/15/21, 2/26/21
    • Final testing date: 3/10/21
  • Individuals will wait in line in their vehicles and follow instructions at the site.
  • Please arrive with plenty of gas for the possibility of your car idling for a length of time while you wait in line.
  • Pre-registration is strongly encouraged through the Department of Health Services Screening Questionnaire. Click here to pre-register. Website available in English, Spanish, Hmong.

Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. 
Community Testing Site at the Waukesha County Expo Center, 1000 Northview Rd, Waukesha

  • Tests administered by Village Primary Care Providers.
    • Testing for ages 5+
    • NO TESTING AT THE EXPO ON: 12/31
    • Final testing date: Tues, 12/29
  • Individuals will wait in line in their vehicles and follow instructions at the site.
  • Please arrive with plenty of gas for the possibility of your car idling for a length of time while you wait in line.

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY: Saturdays: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Community Testing Site at the Moreland Medical Building, in the parking lot of the 1111 Delafield St. building, Waukesha. When arriving for your appointment, enter the parking lot from Delafield St.

  • Tests administered by Village Primary Care Providers.
    • Testing for ages 5+
    • Next Testing Date: TBD

  • Step 2: Make an appointment. When the next Saturday testing date is selected, you will need to return to this web page to click on an active hyperlink to make an appointment.
  • If you are unable to keep your appointment, you do not need to officially cancel it. The appointment reservation system does not accept cancellations.

COVID-19 testing at the locations listed above is available to Wisconsin residents ages 5 years or older, and for individuals who work in Wisconsin. Tests will be conducted at no cost to individuals. All testing sites listed above utilize identical test kits and laboratory services regardless of testing day or location. Those getting tested at a community testing site DO NOT NEED proof of insurance, proof of identification, a referral to be tested, or a primary care physician. Community testing sites are not currently providing antibody testing. This testing is funded through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

CLINIC PROTOCOLS AND PROCEDURES

  • MUST WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Must sanitize hands upon arrival.
  • Must go through a screening process in order to be seen by a provider. This includes symptom questions and temperature taken upon arrival.
  • Only the patient can be in the lobby, no relatives or friends. Exceptions may be requested.
  • Patients must arrive exactly at appointment time.

Waukesha Free Clinic takes this pandemic very seriously. We are monitoring the situation routinely to provide care to the community accordingly and safely. WFC staff and volunteers consistently clean and sanitize the clinic to ensure the safety of our new and existing patients.

COVID Kits

Patients of WFC who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or exposed to someone with the diagnosis will receive the appropriate supplies, medication, and support. These COVID kits include gloves, sanitation supplies, medication, one pulse oximeter, and masks. Along with the kits, WFC providers will keep close communication to monitor the virus.
